I want TALL wellies that are not Hunters

Since apparently they are now crap.

Sigh.

I always wanted some. :(

But, onwards and upwards. What do you think is best? We do get a lot of muck in the spring, and I would like tall, good quality boots to deal with it. That were slightly okay looking.

I have home from the garden centre that look like Hunters but have a commando sole and still going strong after 4 years use (few times a week). Theyvare made by 'Town and Country' and came from Dobbies (they also do on-line).

Some fantastic wellies here - www.wellie-web.co.uk/

I have Hunters and trust me they are the most uncomfortable things I have ever bought and worn - you've not missed anything

Aigle. Mine have vibram walking boot soles. Hunter soles are slippy and dangerous.
Or get yourself some Ryedale Malham boots, totally waterproof. www.rydaleclothing.co.uk/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=7340&idcategory=38

Just bought myself original hunters on eBay that were made in Scotland. They say so on the label and last forever. Am looking out for a pair for dh now as our existing hunters are pretty old Smile
