Anyone seen a lovely work suit in the sales?

I'm applying for jobs and hoping to get back to work and i'd really like a lovely suit, trouser or just below knee pencil skirt and a single breasted jacket that nips in at the waist. Black, dark grey or possibly navy? Ideally £100-£150 all in...any ideas/links much appreciated

That shade of grey always looks a bit subservient / junior to me. Maybe I'm odd. 'tis a great shape though.

oowee this thread is dangerous. I just got a job but it's in EYFS. I don't think I'd dare wear one of these for work although I really want to! I love suits!

I'm no where near norky I'm afraid. I get anxious new role and either my deo lets me down or the thickness of my shirt.

I love pencil skirts and white shirt or suit with bodysuit underneath.

Love the Hobbs Kirsten Pro such a shame those trousers aren't available in a 12, do like the skirt too though, very tempting! Know what you mean about the grey - think it's the school uniform connotations!

Yes! yes indeed that's it. Ours was grey with a yellow blouse (ffs) and a grey and yellow tie. Barf.

I've ordered the hobbs amanda jacket and trousers...so hope they are a good fit! Have literally been to every shop in town with no luck so if it's not nice I will be v. annoyed
