Still no Boden sale......

I got up early to see if I could get a few things for dd's holiday. Still nothing...

Anyone know what time of day it usually begins?

Hmmm... Boden didn't come out too well in that 'clothes quality for price' survey, in the Sunday Times, did it? Maybe, they're having a good look at their sales stuff and pricing accordingly?

I've got some nice bits from Boden, but have to say, I think they've been a bit off the pace for women's stuff, for a while.

Still buy the kid's clothes. On sale only now, though.

I've spent up bargain shopping elsewhere now for the kids. Anything I now buy in the Boden sale will be a guilt purchase as they have everything they need...

Don't a lot of schools finish today for the summer, so lots of people are off on hols tomorrow and won't be able to purchase....??

Can't help but feel a bit miffed that although I spend £100's on Boden stuff they still want me to "like" them on Facebook to hear about the sale - surely being a good customer should be enough !! Feel like "cutting off my nose to spite my face" and telling them to stuff their sale

Haha, me too itdidnt. I think if you want something specific you have to get it earlier with the discount codes. I wanted to buy something that has only just recently sold out at full price.

In any case, loads of stuff has already sold out completely. People are saying Monday on the FB site, so Sunday night perhaps?

Oh and you can't get free postage in the sale can you? So that takes some of the discount off.

There is an awful lot out of stock isn't there?

People are probably buying in the hope that the sale starts in 7 days and Boden will refund them the difference.

Yes but they will give you a credit to spend with them not an actual refund.

Just bought the riviera dress in green. Wanted it for the past four months, so f I didn't get it in the sale, I'd be gutted. Hopefully, I'll get it at sale price and return the other one. No discount codes working at the mo. even had to pay p&p

Personally I think Boden fails to meet demand. Unless you get stuff in the preview or buy everything very early in the season it's nearly all gone before the next preview. I have learned that if the kids are going to have mini boden winter coats I need to get them no later than August.

Agree about supply and demand difficulties.

Last year, I wanted a cardi. I tried to order and it was going to be 8 weeks before delivery. I gave up in the end and bought one which was a little more expensive but, I could wear it that day!

Boden should work on this.

I asked them about it once but they said they can't do anything about it. They did try to explain but I didn't understand (don't really understand how businesses work tbh!)

But all I know is that no other shop sells out of everything so early. And when I pre-order something that they are waiting for more of, I often just get a letter saying sorry there wasn't enough for me to get mine anyway.

They should sort it out, particularly as they now sell to places other than the UK.

See from my inbox (needs a clear-out!) that sale was already under way by 5 July last year.
