What are you wearing in these rainy days?

Just that really. Looking for inspiration.

I am colour blocking with bright skinnies, tees or loose vests & cardigans. I usually wear a cotton scarf too and pile on the bracelets etc. Print just feels way too daft summery for this awful weather but colour blocking seems a comfortable way of pretending it's summer and staying warm!

Have you bought any new scarves lately ujjayi?

No not for ages. I haven't seen anything which has really grabbed my attention. I usually bag a couple in H&M over the spring but they all seem a bit meh.

I need to re-order another MN scarf as mine got stolen :( I will go for the dark brown leopard print again and I am considering either a hot pink LP or the rose version in hot pink and red.

I am thinking about designing my own as a result of this dearth of inspired scarfage :)

Bright colours....red, pink, blue, yellow (not together though!)....to cheer me up! And a summery scarf every day. I even had to wash my summer scarves the other day as they were so well used.....never had to do that in summer before.

Colour blocking is way better than prints in this dire weather. I've had a couple of nice scarves from Primark, but DD has nicked the best ones

For jackets, I'm just throwing on a north face kagoul when it pours. Its so hot between downpours I don't need anything else.

What are you all doing for shoes? Sandals are useless and look stupid with rain flowing through them.

I am wearing skinnies, chinos, thin tops, tunics, ballet flats, fitflops it might be raining ect but by gosh its still warm I just take a huge brolly out with me :)

Skinny jeans, coloured skinny jeans, slim chinos with:
Lightweight bretons, vests, t-shirts, cotton blouses
Am also loving a scarf and lots of bracelets
wearing with peep toe ankle boots, wedge trainers or sandals
Throwing on lands end rainstop parka or carrying a huge brolly

There are some lovely (cheap!) scarves on sale in Oliver bonas atm.
Either lots and lots of colour- so normal summer dresses/play suits but with bright tights/cardigans and sturdier converse/flats. Or I'm really lliking the midi skirt, with bare legs and a Breton, pop of colour.
It is miserable though, and I am thoroughly sick of my parka when cycling....

Am slightly pissing myself that your MN scarf got stolen, Ujjayi. I mean, it was obviously a sad event for you and all but ha fucking ha at the stupid shit for brains thief who mistook it for a £500 Vuitton. Bet he/she was gutted when they got it home and inspected it more closely .
