Ok, I have never been for a wax other than my eyebrows.

I want to get my Fanjo waxed but I have some questions first.

1. I am a serial shaver, I shave every other day, do I need to let it grow to a certain length before going for a wax?

1. I dont understand the brazillian, hollywood talk, I just want it all off everywhere so what do I ask for?

1. how often do I have to go back and again do I have to let it grow to a certain length before doing so?

1. Is it sore afterwards? does it cause rashing like when shaving?

1. The hair needs to be long enough for the wax to grip, or it won't get pulled out. It depends how long your hair takes to grow but I'd say it would probably need a couple of weeks' growth.

1. Hollywood is 'everything off'. Brazillian has 'landing strip' left behind. Standard bikini just takes off what isn't covered by your underwear.

1. Not sure how often, I only get waxed for holidays, but again it needs enough regrowth to grip.

1. It will be tender afterwards, although you can take paracetamol/ibuprofen about half an hour before the wax to minimise the pain and swelling. Also things like aloe vera gel will calm it. Whether or not you come out in a rash depends on your skin sensitivity; mine comes up in little red bumps which go away after a few days.

I go around every 5-6 weeks (hollywood).
I find that the more time they take to do it, the slower the regrowth.

With regards to pain, try to go about 10 days after your period. I went once a couple of days before and I thought I was going to die. And it was the only time I ever got a rash.
