Where do you buy your children's clothes from?

I like the simple, laid back French style of Jojo and Vertbaudet but more the prices of next and H&M. Where else can I shop for little girls clothes? Especially for great basics like rights and tops etc.

I tend to get them from Sainsburys, especially if they have their 25% off offer on. Sometimes get some bits from H&M.

Indith · 04/07/2012 14:33

Sainsbo's mostly, usually have decent selection, multipacks of tops in colours other than pink.

Elfontheedge · 04/07/2012 14:40

I do get quite a bit from sainsburys too. It's just a shame they don't sell online.

Obviously that should be tights not rights!

there is a pretty good sale in Monsoon at the moment.

emsyj · 04/07/2012 15:54

I bulk-buy in the Monsoon sale in sizes to put away - would never pay full price in there though. My DMum buys a lot of clothes in M&S for DD and they always wash and wear nicely.

Love the Vertbaudet style and also Boden but only buy in the sale I love Poppy for party dresses (again... only in the sale!) My sister has bought quite a bit for DD from Du Pareil Au Meme when on holidays - they are having an online sale at the moment which looks good. Their stuff is very very lovely and nice quality. here

DonaAna · 04/07/2012 15:58

I get nearly everything from H&M. Their quality is superb for the price.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 04/07/2012 15:59

Ebay.

jumpinghoops · 04/07/2012 16:03

I get some Vertbaudet, some Ebay, the majority from M&S- Boots Mini Mode also work a look for good quality reasonsbly priced bits n bobs. Often on 3 for 2.

accessorizequeen · 04/07/2012 16:12

H&M,Zara, a lot of eBay, Gap has great leggings, haven't found holy Grail for tights. Love Boden tops but buy on eBay or in sale. Seasalt do lovely stripy tops but I'm waiting until the sale! Next has some gems in the catalogue, but rubbish instore. Saw JoJo style stripe trousers in M&S yesterday for half the price!

MamaMary · 04/07/2012 16:13

Asda.

KandyBarr · 04/07/2012 16:19

Lands End is excellent for children, I think - really good quality, no fading and lots of plain, quite chic styles. More US than French, though.

scentednappyhag · 04/07/2012 16:20

H&M mainly, and Tesco for pyjamas/socks and the odd cardigan or dress. My nan buys her a lot of bits from Next and Marks and Spencers.

itdidntworkout · 04/07/2012 16:34

Boden/ Gap/ M&S. Basics from Asda or Tesco. Always spend quite a bit more on shoes ad coats in the hope they last longer.

Elfontheedge · 11/07/2012 21:31

Just bought a few things from the Jojobsale. Love sale time!

For boys try Base Fashion. Really good range and customer service unlike a lot of online stores!

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 19/07/2012 12:58

I dont spend loads of DS's clothes so mainly from places like Tesco, Matalan and Primark. He always looks lovely though :)

BuildersTea · 19/07/2012 13:20

Boden, Land's End and H&M. I always have a browse in TK Maxx when I pass and I've picked up some excellent t-shirts for my son recently.

lurkingaround · 19/07/2012 19:06

H&M mainly. I find it's hard to beat. And they wash fairly well.

civilfawlty · 19/07/2012 19:08

Polarn us great for that kind of look. I get it on eBay though. Much better value obvs.

AmberNectarine · 19/07/2012 19:21

JoJo almost exclusively for 1yo DD. Boden, H&M and Next (only trousers and jeans that fit him!) for DS (2.6).
