Have you got a beautiful young girl OR boy?

timetosmile · 02/07/2012 22:37

aged between 3 and 11 and not neccessarily living in the North East?

Golden flouncing locks and a perfect manicure?

Do they have a twinkle in their eye?

Muddy knees worthy of a Persil advert?

Do they display a spontaneous generosity with half-chewed food?

Have they a talent for tuba playing, or moonwalking, knitting or obsessive action figure collecting?

Are your drawers overflowing with glitterglue and poster paint masterpieces?

Then tell us why they are so wonderful, amazing, life-affirming and beautiful in the truest sense of the word

There will be no cash prizes, goody bags or preparatory workshops, but posting on this thread is guaranteed to make you feel just a bit better about the world.....

Perfect manicure? Golden locks? What about straight brown hair? Does that no count? Hmm

hellymelly · 02/07/2012 22:40

My children are hideous, but I do have a very beautiful chicken, would that count?

hellhasnofurylikeahungrywoman · 02/07/2012 22:40

Mine are too old

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 02/07/2012 22:40

Doe your chicken have a perfect manicure?

RandomNumbers · 02/07/2012 22:41

My oldest child has steel grey eyes

My younger one has an enormo heid

They are beautiful to me even if younger one looks like a boiled egg on legs

timetosmile · 02/07/2012 22:42

Yeah, as long as its a chicken with a beautiful heart and not just glossy feathers and a pedicure

My gorgeous DS (3) has a nice line in "spit kisses", aka blowing a raspberry on my cheek. It is, to him, the funniest thing in the world right now, and makes him laugh uncontrollably. The giggles are well worth the raspberry!

timetosmile · 02/07/2012 22:42

hell if you have a chicken, you can still enter....

PacificDogwood · 02/07/2012 22:44

Mine are all beautiful, in every sense of the word (well, maybe not DS3's manicure: he picks his nails).

They are particulary lovely at the moment - as they are away with their dad. I have lived the life of my former single self for the last 24 hrs Grin.

And I cannot wait to see them again in a few days' time

Bet the chicken has no eyebrows, tut tut

AmberNectarine · 02/07/2012 22:44

Another here with an enormous-headed child. Lovely big brown eyes though, he's going to break a few hearts.

I also have a gap-toothed daughter, but it's never held Madonnas back Smile

Springforward · 02/07/2012 22:44

Oh, he bites his toenails fingernails though so I suspect may be disqualified. We'll go the the park instead of the pageant I think.

timetosmile · 02/07/2012 22:45

my own entry:-
DD does the best impersonation of a drunken Miss Hannigan you'd ever want to see.

OP posts:
nilbyname · 02/07/2012 22:46

Yes, my DS lush. Gappy toothed, dirty finger nailed, wonky fringe. Perfect.
Yes, my DD, massive big squiggly bottom, no hair whatsoever, big blue eyes. Perfect.

hellhasnofurylikeahungrywoman · 02/07/2012 22:51

I have a chicken, an oven ready one, in my freezer does that count?

baskingseals · 02/07/2012 22:56

mine will even pick their noses and eat the bogies, it's one of the activities they can do together without fighting. quite sweet really
no prizes needed

quite good at swearing in the car as well
and bloody brilliant at scrapping

and at diy haircuts

PacificDogwood · 02/07/2012 22:59

Ha, my DS2 will eat DS1's bogeys! Is there not even a prize for that??
Come ON

lurkingaround · 02/07/2012 23:00

Growing some pretty perfect onions here. I'll clean off all the dirt. Make you cry!

hellymelly · 02/07/2012 23:01

My chicken is truly gorg-e-us but I'm not sure about a beautiful heart.... she likes to eat earwigs, and will fly up and sit on your arm like a medieval hawk, for a mealworm .

lisad123 · 02/07/2012 23:01

I have the most stunning girls ever and dd1 was offered a modelling contract but we didn't take it. She is slightly unusual looking with willowy looks, olive skin and green eyes.
Her sister however always looks like she hasn't been clean in her life and has hair like bird nest.
Don't believe me? Look on profile!

baskingseals · 02/07/2012 23:02

Grin dogwood

you must be so proud

timetosmile · 02/07/2012 23:02

No prizes, but they can have some Biscuit after they have washed their hands

PacificDogwood · 02/07/2012 23:04

They are exceptional, even if I say so myself.
It's funny I fond I can feel of them when they are absent/asleep

My 2 boys are perfect in every way, even more so since we heard this morning that our good friends little girl is loosing her battle with cancer.

It's just down to luck.

FunnysInLaJardin · 03/07/2012 13:51

I've done it again losing. This time, please don't pick me up on it though!
