Babyliss Big Hair or Hot Rollers, help me choose....

I'm looking for some advice on what to buy.

I want big, sexy, wavy hair that doesn't take forever to style. I love Cheryl Cole for wavy big hair and Kate Middleton for a more demure wavy look.

What styling tool will help me get this?

Richard Ward on standby 24/7 Wink

I have both, Big Hair is great for all over body and root lift, it's also really quick to use and doesn't take much practice to get really good. (I have shoulder length, utterly straight hair.) I use my rollers before an evening out when I want defined curls and bounce. Or for a wedding/all day event where I want my style to last. Big Hair is a better all round product, but I don't think you can beat rollers for giving you curls where you have none!

Or, you could just go with valium's suggestion!

FabMum1 · 02/07/2012 17:06

Oh if only I could afford Richard Ward lol

bbh doesn't give me root lift it only makes my hair finshed and swishy
hot rollers definitely give me volume ..way more than bbh but as my hair it chin length it can be too much if I'm not careful.
I am currently using rootboost as that's how my hairdresser gets just the right amt of volume for me.
Not much help sorry..but bbh def deosn't give me volume.

I have fine hair but lots of it ..that may be the difference

FabMum1 · 02/07/2012 21:04

So the Big Hair won't give me what I'm looking for?

I've used my Big Hair a few times, having watched the videos, and it's left my hair looking rubbish.

ajandjjmum · 02/07/2012 21:09

Should say, I'm not very good with hair, but the result is far far better with a brush and hairdryer.

ggirl · 02/07/2012 21:11

bbh gets rid of frizzy hair and makes it smooth
maybe it volumizes thicker hair??

frankie76 · 02/07/2012 21:11

I am rubbish at hair and have really thick wavy hair and I love my big hair it makes it straight but a big bouncy blow dry
So easy to use for someone crap at hair

ajandjjmum · 02/07/2012 21:19

I'm crap and my hair looks crap after using it! Grin
