Where would you shop? Obviously, good cuts, decent material, reasonably priced and great accessories?

I'm 36, sized 10, chunky calves and cankles, so prefer skinnies at the mo.

I'm going on a shopping excursion end July and need to get as much new stuff as possible :)

I would look online first at as wide a range of shops as possible to earmark things that I wanted to look at. You may also want to book a personal shopper at a department store e.g. John Lewis, Selfridges, HoF, to help you get some good outfits and not just a random assortment of clothes (like I have!).

I think, for the money, uniqlo is excellent value. I find the jeans to be well cut, the Breton tops and basic Ts are good quality and they do some nice blazers. Great for basics which you can then dress up with scarves, accessories and the odd trend-led item.

I also think Warehouse do nice, reasonably priced silk tops and lovely scarves. People rave about the Oasis Cherry skinnies, though I haven't tried them myself. Zara also have some nice bits, though their quality is hit and miss.

I would get a very minimal capsule from the most expensive shops I could afford (why kind of budget have you got? Have you got to last through winter without shopping again?) and a few cheaper accessories/fashiony bits from warehouse/Topshop/oasis.
