What is the best anti frizz hair product?

I'm on the hunt for an anti frizz hair product.I colour my hair but it is in good condition but is prone to the ends going frizzy in humid conditions.Serums seem quite heavy and I wondered if there were any better products?

I have quite fine hair and swear by John Frieda's Frizz Ease.

I only use a small amount and apply it to the ends of my hair whilst it is still damp.

Most other serums and oils leave my hair limp and oily looking.

Although my previous hairdresser used to use the Morrocan oil in my hair and this tamed the frizzy ends whilst also leaving my hair sleek without sacrificing any body.

Pricey though, around £30 a bottle I think.

Argan oil, which is the main ingredient of Morrocan oil but a fraction of the price. Available from health food stores, Superdrug (apparently) and Amazon. (I buy mine from the Melvita store in Covent Garden for £12 but there is cheaper available elsewhere. The bottle lasts months.)

I always found serums next to useless. I have frizzy, naturally curly hair that is super dry and used to feel like straw. My hair is super smooth now and blow dries straight beautifully. In fact my hair is in much better condition now to the degree that I don't even bother with conditioner.
I think the key with hair oil is to only use a few drops.

Tigi Blow Out Balm - marvellous stuff and transforms my hair. Very cheap on ebay.

I put the nourishing milk in after washing, then serum just before drying or if I need to defrizz before work. I've found that many other serums and products start to build up in my hair so it ends up heavier but oddly frizzy at the same time

I've been buying anti frizz schizz for twenty years, from high end to low.

They don't work :(

TIGI has just won a beauty award - it is fab and I have bought the lot of them too morris and agree they don't work. Frizz Ease does but makes my hair lank.

I've been using TIGI for about a year and it really is amazing stuff.

Another vote here for argan oil. Great for my thick wavy hair and much better than any serum ive discovered so far.

Have recently discovered coconut oil and am loving it at the mo. Just under £2 for a small size tub which will last for ages. If you like the smell of coconuts, then i'd recommend. But word of caution. Less is definitely more with any oil

the 'No Frizz' shampoo, conditioner and styling cream from Living Proof. You can buy it from Space NK. it is unbelievably good and the ONLY thing that has ever stopped my hair being frizzy.

The 'No Frizz' range didn't work for me!

100% Argan oil definitely didn't work for me, way too heavy. I have thick, dark straight European hair (ie not Asian or Afro) so maybe that's why. I'm now using 'Moroccan Oil' Again, not cheap but you only need a few drops, too. Love it. I'm going to use the Argan oil on my poor dry soles instead :)

I use biosilk, it's lovely. You only need a very small amount.

I have VO5 miracle elixir (can't link as on phone) and its transformed my hair! I use 2 drops on wet hair and it utterly tames my hair! Best of all, it was under £5 in tesco (think its in Boots as well) but its the only one I've found that sorts my hair out without getting greasy!

I also have v thick, dry, curly hair. Frizz Ease works once, occasionally. If I use it more than once in a while, my hair soaks up lots of silicone and goes all plasticy
. Hairdresser tried Moroccan oil lastweek end - lovely! But the very best thing is not to wash it more than once a week, but possibly only practical if you live in the countryside and not city grit.

Argan oil. Make sure is cosmetic grade not food grade. (cosmetic grade is cold pressed, food grade the nuts are I think roasted which makes the oil smell really strong)

whethergirl, thanks for the ebay link, it's great they have smaller amounts. I am going to try argan oil on my thick curly hair and see what it's like. Am doing the curly girl method so no silicone serums for me :(

I have started using this Vo5 Miracle Concentrate Elixir after seeing it on a youtube beaty demo, and it is great. Really smooths my frizzy hair.
