Size 38G bust, waist tucks in but wobbly so needs support (gave birth 2 weeks ago) large hips and bum. Shapely figure if on the larger side. Height 5ft 2.

Big problem with tops/dresses is that distance from shoulder to bust is too long making boob all out despite being large.

this might well work, it looks like it's stretchy but can't be sure.

this is, erm, eye catching but fab for BF

this is rather informal but it'd dress up well. You probably get loads of wear out of this one.

the plain version here would need a pin to close the cross front a bit more.

Most of those would need bright accessories, the button front pepperberry one looks like the best of the bunch to me. Do you have spanx?

StarlightWithAsteroid · 01/07/2012 20:43

Ooh thanks. Bravissimo hasn't worked in the past as the boob cross-over tends to be closer to my waist than mid boob, but could perhaps fix with a pin and breast access would be easy.

The first might be okay as is petite!

Love the blue. Perhaps I coukd simply get the shoulders shortened!?

i luff the pepperberry one though you would need to try it on as you need to make sure the waist sits in the right place iynwim> ( i am a similar shape and 5'2'' as well, so speaking from experience)

I also really like the black one on sale and think if it looked v good on, then it would look smart enough.

Plus a wedding ina field! when you are breastfeeding! hats off.

Shortening shoulders sounds doable - they'd need to move the armholes down a bit too but that shouldn't be a problem. Good plan!

I'm sure I saw some lovely yellow shoes with a wedge or a very chunky heel the other day. Shall I try and dig em out?

I've got a brand new one of the famous Dorothy Perkins nursing dresses still with tags in a 16, I bought it for a wedding then wore something else. You're welcome to it if you want it! I'm very similar proportions to you except with even bigger boobs and it fits well and is actually very flattering. It's this one media.dorothyperkins.com/wcsstore/DorothyPerkins/images/catalog/12186789_normal.jpg
PM me if you want it and I'll stick it in the post.
