Dresses above the knee when you have tree trunk legs.

Is this dress a no-no for me? I have awful legs but love this dress. It is shorter than expected but I could wear with navy leggings underneath.

I saw someone today in a short dress who didn't have particulary nice legs, and see it more often, so wonder if I am being daft not wearing anything other than jeans/long skirts because my legs are vile thanks ex

With leggins yes, without then a big no!

I hate my legs (well, just the tops of them) and I wouldnt wear that without leggins/skinnies or something...what if you need to bend over to pick something up...If I bent over wearing that dress I reckon someone would park their bicycle up my arse

But yes with leggins tis a nice dress.

I'm the same, skirts on the knee or just below I look fab. Skirt that hit above the knee, I don't.

It's all about highlighting your best bits, not drawing attention to your (perceived) flaws.

Thats a nice dress! Depends on how tall you are and how short it would be in part. Frankly, if I wore it with leggings, no one would look twice as I am 5ft 10 and it would look like I was wearing a tunic and leggings. I do tend to think that leggings with dresses look slightly odd when the dress is longer than the mid thigh, but that could just be a odd quirk of mine! I tend to stick to just above the knee - or really short with leggings occasionally. My legs aren't that bed, but they have past their best and are not my best feature.

I have good thighs, nobbly knees and tree trunk thighs so not sure what to wear really. If I wear a skirt that is calf length I look awful. A skirt on the knee feels nice but I am self conscious as my legs are white as well as not shapely and I can't do fake tan well enough. I am 5 foot 5 1/2.

How about knee length with some Sally Hansen leg stuff? It really is fool proof!
