Does anyone else find they sweat more in linen....?

I thought it was supposed to keep you cool, but whenever I wear something with linen in I feel like I am sweating ten times more than usual.

Have a gorgeous sleeveless linen dress but I always end up with huge sweat patches under the arms and today I have on a t-shirt which is linen mix and I can feel my under arms are much sweatier than usual....

Voile (printed so it is not see through and you dont have to worry about what you are wearing underneath) is the best material to wear when you are hot - very very very thin, fine cotton - I don't know why more clothes are made of it for summer wear actually!
