Help! tops to wear with white skinny jeans?

so I got some white skinny jeans (I know they are like Marmite on MN), but I think they look good on me, and that Dona Ida says they are flattering!

So, am planning to wear them on an evening out, and I have a lovely pair of strappy coral suede sandals I want to wear them with, but not sure what to wear on top? Nothing too tight, but I'm size 10-12 hourglass, and need something with a bit of shape, something semi-fitted, but not empire line (makes me look pregnant). I Have dark skin and dark hair, 5'4" btw and tend to suit cooler jewel colours.

thanks mrsSB - like the first and second one, not sure about third. I wonder if I'm better off looking for a colourful short tunic/shift dress type thing? have a wide variety of belts to cinch baggier tops in too if that helps?

I envisaged you in a coral cinch waist tunic type ensemble for some reason - a kind of short shirtdress effect..

Belted in would suit an hourglass shape. What's your preferred colour for the top?

orange doesn't suit me near my face - makes me look v yellow, so can only do orange accessories.

I was thinking rich purples, cobalt blue, turquoise, green, hot/fuchsia pink?

In my head I'm imaging Miami/J Lo look, in reality I want to avoid going out looking like Liz Hurley Grin

can't do anything too flouncy or flowery either as have short black hair and makes me look silly! maybe something colourblock or with a print?
