Haven't owned a pair of trainers or the like in years but I need to Get a pair of something - ideally for walking
I considered fit flops but want something that will do winter also. Something incan pop into my bag too so not massive maybe ones i could wear doing a low impact gym class like bodypump (by low impact I mean I won't be running marathons and needing mileage in the soles iyswim)

If you are intending to do anything like body pump then you really need trainers - fit flops just wouldn't do to be honest.

Have you a sports direct near you - they do a massive range of trainers, all prices, and there should be something there to suit :)

Yes had figured that on the fit flops - was looking at sketchers ones recently - would they be ok to exercise in I wonder or aree they more of a fashion item
?

I have a coupe of pairs of the smaller sole sketchers and they would be fine for body pump! Not for anything heavy like spin as you can really feel the pedals through them but yes ideal for light exercise.

You really don't need trainers to do body pump actually, heaps of people do it in vibrams or nike frees or even converse and it's fine. It's just weights really and serious weightlifters wear very thin soles :)
