Oh yes, Goodwood !Grin
The car thing, not horses.......glam? We have tickets for the stands so should be covered but is there a lot of uncovered stuff too? On grass or paths?

Unless you are going for corporate entertainment then comfortable and practical is the way to go. Mostly petrol heads who are not known for their style.

I've been twice. There is loads of walking on both grass and paths/Tarmac do wear comfy shoes.

It'll be absolutely everything, but (sorry to disappoint) generally not very stylish in all public areas. My Dh goes and it'll be jeans and a shirt for him. If you're with a partner who actually likes cars and he plans to have a good look around (or you're going because you really like them yourself!) then comfortable shoes, a light bag, and easy layers are necessary - it's big. Have fun!

The Festival isn't glam at all. Wear walking boots as it can get muddy, and theres a lot of walking with nowhere to sit down

Drywhiteplease · 27/06/2012 22:28

Thanks for the tip CMOT
