Birthday t-shirts for kids

I'm doing a bit of research and would appreciate any thoughts on this...

Would you consider buying your child a very cool t-shirt for their birthday, it would feature their age on it (from 1 year up to 10 years) and would be printed on organic cotton, all ethically made. There's two or three designs per age / sex and themes include robots, cakes, birdies, daisies, all very cute and funky. The idea is the child would wear it on their actualy birthday. You could also add their name on the back of it to add some personalisation.

Would you buy one for your child? Or as a present for another child? And if so what would you spend?

Thanks so much in advance. Thanks

I think it sounds like a great idea!

Yes, I bought one this week.
They were difficult to get hold of.
I bought the breton stripe Bob and Blossom one in the end with just 4 on it.

It didn't matter about organic cotton just the quality of design and price.

The ones on not on the high street are expensive, got DS one from there for 2nd birthday, but a rugby type shirt would be fine.

Yes I would buy one for friends etc but only around £5, next are doing them for that, maybe more with cute design.

If you could get a boden feel then you'd be on to a good business!

I bought one a couple of weeks ago for DD. Had her name and age on it, tshirt in her favourite colour all hand made, looked great & she loved it.

Lots of other mums asking where we got it from so we passed on the details of the local lady who made it.

Personally no.

I have a personal dislike of clothing with names printed on for starters. Might be a bit of fun for a party but I wouldn't fork out on an item of clothing solely for that.

Have tried to get one in the past but failed due to sizing ie I'm 3 today but actually require sizing for 5 yr old if that makes sense
