Any tips for stopping new shoes staining bare feet?

I found a really sweet pair of black leather ballet flats but they're marking my feet. It's too hot for tights any ideas?

Spray inside with scothguard???? No idea if it would work though!

Hmm scotchguard hadn't thought of that. I never get on with footsies they always slip off my heel. Anyone else?

Wear them about the house with thin socks to soak up the worst of it.
