Does anyone know of a REALLY good antiperspirant/deodorant?

My DD1,who is 20, has been put on a medication that the unfortunate side effect of making her sweat a lot. When she goes back to University in September she will be interacting with patients every day (she's a med student) and really doesn't want to be worrying about being wet and stinky!!

Thanks:)

Sweatex sweat pads are brilliant - absorb so you don't need to worry about wet patches.

Sweatex didn't work for me. Didn't think they were briliant at all.

I have really sensitive skin and i'm having really good results with the Sure cream you apply at night.

brighthair · 24/06/2012 22:23

The sure max cream works for me as does the dove max one

does this cream leaves any stains on clothing?

Seona1973 · 28/06/2012 18:44

perspirex itched my armpits to buggery - I only lasted 1 night with it! I tried Dove maximum protection cream but it didnt seem to make much difference. I am now trying out Triple dry roll on and it seems to be ok so far

I use driclor too. I only use it occasionally as find if you use it for a week the effects last a few weeks so I use sure 48 in between.

I find driclor does itch and when your in bed it's mor noticeable, so I put it on one hr before bed to get over the initial itchy stage(watching tv means I forget it's itching) then bed as normal.

unna - no, it's better if you apply at night as it says on the box as it seems to work better so it's all soaked in anyway

unna · 28/06/2012 19:11

brighthair thanks, I'm using pads and very happy with them but I might also try a cream...

If its going to be a hot day I do double layer - cream at night, standard spray in am and it seems to work well
