Envy - Theory in TKMaxx...I must start paying more attention in there and stop buying sheets and towels

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 22/06/2012 18:00

I always come out of there with a tshirt and photo frames. must rummage more

FannyFifer · 22/06/2012 18:01

Who the hell would pay 600 quid for it in the first place, mental!

ishopthereforeiam · 22/06/2012 18:04

lol @ sleep - I bought bedding in there today :-/

BackforGood · 22/06/2012 18:14

Strikes me as one of those things that, because of the original completely ridiculous price, you feel it's a tremendous bargain, but, as first poster says, it's still £25 for a floaty summery nightie sundress. Confused

Tortington · 22/06/2012 18:15

i think its lovley

akaemmafrost · 22/06/2012 18:19

It's beautiful.

But agree who would pay £600 for it Shock it's only one blob of ketchup away from being a duster.

Love TK Maxx, get some amazing bargains in there. I got a pair of Anna Sui sunglasses reduced from 189.00 to 16.99 Shock. This season as well.

YourCallIsImportant · 22/06/2012 21:42

Well I definitely couldn't and wouldn't pay £600 for it, but it is gorgeous and well worth more than I paid for it.

As my DD (10 yo) would say
"You'll need a clean vest under that" Grin

BackforGood · 23/06/2012 00:04

Grin 70 - I'm going to use that phrase next time it's appropriate, not heard it before!

OlivesTree · 23/06/2012 13:13

OMG. You have just re-ignited my LOVE LOVE LOVE of TK Maxx. Would it be irresponsible to wake 8 month old DD from nap to introduce her to the world of designer bargains? Cheap cheap Chloe here we come!

cocolepew · 23/06/2012 13:15

Lovely and what a bargain! you cow

cocolepew · 23/06/2012 13:16

catinboots · 23/06/2012 13:19

Beautiful dress. I am Envy

YourCallIsImportant · 23/06/2012 15:21

It had originally been on sale in TK Maxx for £60, but it was marked down to £25 and was on their sale rail. To be fair, it did look a bit like a manky* duster on the hanger and DH was Hmm when I said I was buying it, but this morning I put it inside a pillowcase, and in the washing machine on a wool wash. It now looks absolutely stunning. Grin [smug]

*manky ~ adjective, Glasgow slang, in need of a good wash.
