SAHM 'uniform' / feel like I've worn the same outfit all year

Obviously not helped by this endless autumnal weather, but I feel like I've worn variations on a theme forever now and wondered what other (more stylish) SAHMs wore?

My uniform is skinny jeans from topshop or Paige denim, a Kew or gap tshirt and either a Jigsaw jumper or ancient whistles jersey cardigan and superga pumps. Borrrring. And I look like a clone :)

I've 3 year old twins and a baby so I guess it needs to be reasonably practical. But I'd love some ideas to shake things up a bit.. Please! I can feel a shopping spree coming in but it's been so long I don't even know where to start

Dress and tights (or bare legs when the weather permits).
Shorts and colored tights (or bare legs) with a sweater, blouse or blazer.
Flared jeans and a tight-fitting, possibly cropped top.

Even boring shapes will look fresh if you adjust the colors. Look into the floral jeans and bright colors trend. I feel very fresh today just pairing new skinny floral jeans with a crisp white button-down shirt.

Ballerinas and wedges are extremely practical shoes.
A nice cross-body bag is also a good investment.

Also, give yourself a break! With a baby your body shape is constantly changing. I just found my nursing clothes - boooooring jeans skirts and H&M nursing tops - would never wear them again. There will be a time in the not-too-distant future again when you can wear dry clean only clothes and everything that now seems impractical and forbidden.

I'm a working Mum (very casual office - no suits) and I know what you mean. The weather definitely isn't helping as I can't get out the summer wardrobe for more than a day Sad
I find myself in a uniform of skinny jeans, stripy breton top and large scarf or chunky necklace.
To change things about a bit, I sometimes wear red stripes instead of navy... yes, soo radical me Grin. I also sometimes swop the jeans for a denim skirt. Or, like today, I'm wearing flared jeans that feel very different to skinny jeans. I also use accessories to change my looks - a big pair of dangly earrings or several leather cuff bracelets or a statement necklace. Changing the bag you use can also change the look of an outfit.

Meggles I've gone pretty radical too - a Breton dress!

DonaAna you're right I'm just impatient I guess. I do most feeds at home so haven't bothered with nursing clothes, just tshirts I can layer or lift up.

Anyone seen any nice dresses to go with leggings, in the sales?

I don't know if this is you're taste but In an effort to get me out of my skinnie jeans, i bought a lovely dress in fatface that is navy with cream spots, I am currently wearing with leggings and converse, and plan on tights and boots in th winter.
