Faff - I hadn't thought of that with the red and navy and I think you're right! In my mind,red is the more classic choice,but perhaps not this year then!!

Trouble is i have to find shoes in my lunch break tomorrow oh and belt maybe. Shops available are new look or dotty p :-(

Fuschia pink?

New look have lots of coloured heels in at the mo which would go with navy - know they definatley have coral and pink ones. Can't link on phone but have a quick look on their website.

And i only have a red bag ! Or black or brown. I like green tho.

Nice shoes on new look will depend on what they have in store then. I need shoes belt bag to match.

I like Faff's suggestions, and I could add camel, some silver brogues, or also the cork-colour you see on the heels of wedges and sandals like here.

Not a wedding, a lunch party. Dont have to be matchy. Quite like nude as a suggestion. Dress is navy obv, straight ish above knee. Thank you all for help.

There's plenty of choice in NL & DP at the moment! I'd start in NL for shoes myself.

Colour wise the brights suggested would be best but if you do go with nude shoes and want to use your own bag then the red would be better than the brown. NL have got some great little bright bags ATM and DP have a couple of good oversized clutches all for about a tenner.

Silver shoes is doable at a stretch but maybe a bit aging, gold beyond the pail I fear.

Matching best avoided, obviously.

Snakeskin print - lovely with Navy and very chic!

Did i boo boo? Bearing in mind v tight time restraint ie ten minutes at lunch break. I got emerald green heels and belt and earrings. Snakeskin belt and navy heels the other option.

Black dress other option if the above sounds really uurgh. I have no sense of what goes with what. Can u tell :-)
