Basic long-sleeved tshirts that are nice and long in the body?

I've been told its the wrong time of year for long sleeves in several shops. Goodness knows why, seems pretty perfect at the moment. Managed to get some in Next but they're only waist length and ride up uncomfortably when I sit down. I want them for layering under tunics and t-shirts. Any ideas?

The Isabella Oliver extra long t. It's expensive but v good quality and really good for ruching up over leggings/skinnies and layering. Wait until you have a discount code or can get it in the sale though!

Second vote for the IO top, one of the most worn items in my wardrobe at the moment as it enables layering with summer tops which would otherwise be gathering dust due to this non summer! I got mine in the sale I think, or at least wait for a 20% code.

I still wear some of my H&M mama tops since DS was born as they're made nice and long to go over a bump. I think they're good quality and don't think they were more than £10-12.

Cos do some every season, over long in the sleeves too, which I love. like this

orangina · 15/06/2012 14:45

Higher in the neck that the IO one as well (which I prefer)...

timetosmile · 15/06/2012 14:46

M+S standard ones seem quite long or I am shorter than I thought

MaryBS · 15/06/2012 14:46

Tesco have some, and at the moment they have £5 off a £25 spend instore...

Mustgettogym · 15/06/2012 14:48

Dorothy perkin have them in lovely colours I think too

orangina · 15/06/2012 14:55

No, no, no M&S are NEVER long enough in the body or in the arm.

I just had one delivered from boden and it's pretty long. The long sleeved one is £16.

anniewoo · 16/06/2012 15:08

The white co.

RoxyRobin · 16/06/2012 15:13

H&M have just what you're looking for in stock now - in fact I bought a navy one when I was in on Thursday. £7.99.

QueenCadbury · 17/06/2012 07:31

Some Dorothy Perkins ones are long enough

georgesmummy11 · 17/06/2012 09:27

H&M all the way, good quality huge choice of colours cheap and more than long enough

keepmoving · 17/06/2012 09:41

Uniqlo. I'm 6' tall and these fit perfectly. Their t-shirt range inc. Long sleeve, vest tops etc are all long in the body, wash well and are reasonably priced.

BikeRunSki · 17/06/2012 10:16

I wear Boden ones because they are long. I am 5'8" so not super tall, buy my height is in my back, and tops have to be at least 24" long. Wish shops routinely did long tops like they do long leg trousers.

Agree. M and s shrink like bastards
