fly glu in off-white.

I LOVE them - but I love all sorts of weird shit and then realise people are looking at me funny.

Are they cool, awful, funky, frumpy or what?

(you can tell me, I can take it :))

Frumpy and clumpy I am afraid! But then I dislike all fly shoes.

spooktrain · 13/06/2012 14:07

I think they're funky. But I'm a frump. I'm sure someone more stylish will be along soon.

BegoniaBigtoes · 13/06/2012 14:08

I'm scruffy and 40-something - frumpy-ish I guess.

So if funky for frumps...

Without wanting to put too fine a point on it, they look like something you might buy from Lidl.

BegoniaBigtoes · 13/06/2012 14:16

Shock This isn't going well.

Hideous - sorry.

starfishmummy · 13/06/2012 14:18

I'm old and frumpy. I think they are horrible (but then my idea of fashion is which colour t shirt I buy!)

yellowraincoat · 13/06/2012 14:19

What do you want them for? Maybe we can find you an alternative?

BegoniaBigtoes · 13/06/2012 14:20

spooktrain. It's you, me and the shoes over in frumps' corner...

OP posts:
KenNEddieKennedy · 13/06/2012 14:20

I like them!

Aliceinthelookingglass · 13/06/2012 14:21

Yuck, yuck, yuck.
sorry.

too clumpy and horrid soles.

BegoniaBigtoes · 13/06/2012 14:24

Um well I like the look of wedge/clumpy sandals, and I've never had any because I'm tall and they are usually too high, plus I can't walk in proper heels. Fly fit my fat toes (not helping my frumpy image here) and their wedges are reputed to be comfortable. And then I saw these and they just appealed. I like quirky designs. I imagined them looking nice with jeans and painted toenails.

Hello Ken! :)

I like them too! But not in yellow, I am not a fan of yellow...
I've got some Fly wedge sandals and some Fly boots and I love them.
Fly is NOT frumpy, I don't care what anyone says!

cocolepew · 13/06/2012 14:28

If you like them buy them. Who gives a flying fuck whether other people like them?

I mean that in the nicest possible sense Grin

yellowraincoat · 13/06/2012 14:30

I do also agree with cocolepew, I'm sure there's stuff I wear that people think "noooo" but fuck em.

I often read on here "I am over 25, can I still wear Converse/shiny leggings/mini skirts" and people say "GOD NO" which I just find perplexing as I wear far more out there clothes than I did when I was younger.

So why not just embrace what you like?

They do look like they come from a weirdy Euro supermarket though ;)

BegoniaBigtoes · 13/06/2012 14:31

Coco I've actually ordered them. Just wondered if everyone would be horrified! I do have odd frumpy quirky taste and I do tend to buy something if it jumps out at me, because not much does!

It's the white ones I like - also not sure about the yellow, too bright.

OP posts:
LadyClariceCannockMonty · 13/06/2012 14:32

I agree with coco too.

I can't decide if I like them or not; it'd be helpful if they had a pic of someone wearing them.

BegoniaBigtoes · 13/06/2012 14:33

(It's not as if they will spoil my otherwise perfectly styled and groomed look...)

OP posts:
Catsmamma · 13/06/2012 14:34

i'd have to see them on my feet to decide! I think they could be amazing on, but they may look like dodgy NHS nurse shoes ...esp in the white.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 13/06/2012 14:35

Ah, I don't particularly like the white but actually think the yellow ones are nice.

But, again, if you like them, fuck it! And enjoy them!

badtasteflump · 13/06/2012 14:36

I like 'em Smile

I didn't think clumpy was frumpy - I thought clumpy was all 'in' and stuff Confused

yellowraincoat · 13/06/2012 14:36

It's not the clumpy that's frumpy, it's the general effect that is frumpy.

PestoSandalissimos · 13/06/2012 14:38

I like 'em Smile
