For a wedding, need them to be as cheap as possible!

Thanks

Very pretty - try New Look for shoes (pale grey/coral/silver/dark coral all would look good).

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 13/06/2012 15:27

Lovely dress!

I think these silver sandals would be just about perfect

IMHO it's best to avoid matching shoes and bag - a coral bag would be lovely (i think) but I'm not finding much really cheap - maybe peach, or this coral one that looks like it might tone with the dress, or blush possibly?? This looks near as damn it perfect but probably not cheap enough.

So, to matching (or at least not contrasting - actual match and rather nice
or maybe dark silver for toning rather than matching? Actual match mark II.

Anything that's anything like?

Have just bought some beautiful coral wedges from Clarkes of all place. Would be perfect. They are gorgeous and comfortable.
Can't do linky though...

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 13/06/2012 15:32

Oh yeah, I've seen several pairs of fab coral shoes too but at 35 - 50 pounds which I'm assuming is too pricey...

KellyKapowski · 13/06/2012 15:34

Wow lots to look at, thanks!

Would be willing to spend about £30 on shoes and £15 on a bag.

Also need some kind of jacket/cardigan or wrap.

coral slingbacks same price as the clarkes wedges

KellyKapowski · 13/06/2012 16:14

Those are nice procrastination

Do you think the coral needs to match the dress exactly? the colours can look so different in real life to pictures on a website.

Mmm, I think they need to be absolutely the same shade OR different enough to obviously tone - a near match isn't going to work. They're on the DP website too looking a totally different shade. You're right it's totally impossible to judge the exact shade of anything online.

Just having a browse of the Debenhams sale and have fallen in love with these www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_58958+2769263769_-1?breadcrumb=Home%7Etxthalston

Typically they are not in the sale grrrrr

Sorry, keep forgetting to do links properly!

Oh yes, love those! Just happen to know the cream version are in the sale but, well, they're not really a patch on the silver.

buy the silver ones NOW

ifancyashandy · 14/06/2012 09:50

Don't think either the glittery shoes or the silver sandals are right at all. Way too evening for what is quite a daytime dress (it's lovely btw!) & they are quite old fashioned imo.

Can't link as on phone but Office do a mid heeled platform court called Dorothy in pewter that might work colour wise. They may be a little heavy in style though.

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 14/06/2012 09:51

these are nice but they don't really compare - closer to budget though

Yeah, the halston ones the OP linked to do have a vintagey look (as do the DP sandals), it's not accidental though...

ProcrastinationAteMyMorning · 14/06/2012 09:56

(think the dress has a slightly vintage feel too, actually)

ifancyashandy · 14/06/2012 09:58

Not sure they look vintagy to me. More 'Oh, I'm going to a party, I must wear sparkly shoes'. I think they'll look 'confused about fashion'. Just not my taste though.

KellyKapowski · 14/06/2012 10:13

These ones are a bargain, what do you think?
