Help! I am a size 16, 5'6" with a lot of tummy to hide, but gradually losing it!! I have found some nice ish swim costumes but they all seem to be short in the body. I like to feel secure and comfortable in a costume whist not looking 20+ years older. Cotton traders have some nice tankini's but my size seems permanently out of stock!

Can anyone help?!?

Boden. I'm a size 20 and find their costumes generously-sized. They tend to have lots of new items on ebay at this time of year, too.

Thanks doglover - Boden do have some nice costumes but I can't make my mind up whether I go for a 'control' style swimsuit, a tankini or a skirtini style - next have a nice one. I need help! www.next.co.uk/women/swimwear-1/2

I bought some cute ones in Debenhams. They are 50's style with little skirts that hide my size 18 thighs. Anyway they had regular and long sizes.

Have seen the Debenhams ones and would love to get one but they never have my size in stock!!

That's annoying. Might be worth trying a smaller size as they seem quite generous. ??
Good luck with your shopping

I bought this one from George @ Asda, it's control and I can't tell you how much it sucks things in. They don't have your size in stock but they do have others in your size. M&S also do a lovely extensive range too and have a sale on at the moment.

Land's End have swimming costumes fir every body shape imaginable. Underwired, tummy control, skirts, optical illusions, tankinis. Everything.

Thanks everyone! Lizzywig have just ordered the George one in red, its always the body length that causes me problems. I think I may be a tad fussy!! Compounded by the fact that I am going on holiday with a friend (and her family) and she is 10 yrs younger than me, blonde, pretty, bubbly, slimmer, etc ........... Hmm What was I thinking when I agreed to holiday?!!!
