cheap alternative to Vitalumiere

I really really like Vitalumiere - the glowiness, the way it slips on, the level of coverage. But I need to embark on a bit of a saving spree so need to find a cheaper alternative. Any ideas?

You could try the Bourjois foundations. 10 hour sleep effect is glowy and slippy. The Healthy Mix foundation ( normal and gel serum version ) are both really great too. From my experience, these are the most similar.

I second Health Mix by Bourjois! Lisa Eldridge seems to be a big fan too. Bourjois is owned by Chanel so it sort of makes sense. They have a good selection of shades (I am usually shade 51) and I find that the Healthy Mix gives a nice finish with surprising coverage which lasts a reasonable amount of time. It photographs well and looks good close up. The Healthy Mix gel serum is more dewey and I find it to be slightly more sheer, too sheer for me.

Oooh great, thanks for the recommendations! This could even make saving fun.

Healthy mix is brilliant. I've tried loads of different foundations, from cheap to expensive and I'm sticking with this one now.

That's great info - thanks! - I have used Vitalumiere for years and never found anything to come near it in coverage and staying power -- so will try the Healthy Mix by Bourjois as not many £££'s at the moment !Smile

Thanks all, excited about trying the Healthy mix.
