Help me find a body lotion with fake tan

Can anyone help? I've never used any of these tan products and have a horror of looking like Kat Slater - my legs really need help for a party this weekend. I'd prefer one of those body lotions with just a bit of tan in, can anyone recommend one? I have very very pale skin - Irish - and to be honest am a bit of a klutz so something I'm unlikely to mess up if at all possible!

(Not looking for a tan as such, just something to make my legs look slightly less undead)

I use the Garnier Summer Body one.

Trick is to use a light coating....don't put too much on or you'll be orange and smell foul!

The st Tropez every day one is lovely but too expensive for me, in these cash strapped times.

I use the Dove one, like you am fair skinned and find the light one in this gives a natural colour, no streaks and not too bad on the smell front!

Have tried various brands and find most too dark or inclined to streak.

The Dove also sinks in well so dries quickly and less likely to stain clothes.

Dove summer glow, I am super fair skinned and this has worked perfectly for me for near two yrs now. A very light, natural look (avoid coating knees though, and ankle bones only very lightly). Can build it up over a few days or (like me) stick with first application for subtlety. More expensive ones made me a l'orange.

Johnsons Holiday Sun works well for me.

I really like the Dove and St Tropez ones. My St Tropez has nearly ran out now and for £15 it's not noticeabley better for me to justify Spending out on that rather than the £3 dove one. I do have to really skimp on my knees and feet though with any tanning product as it really absorbs there even if I moisturise well.

I use this one from Xen Tan
I have tried most of the brands on the market but like this one the best for both the colour and the smell!

A chum of mine used to make her own by simply adding some fake tan into her body lotion.
If you're worried about streaks etc - why not try some leg make up stuff (bit like tan but washes off) - so if you don't like the effect you could ditch it.

Having tried the johnsons and dove ones, my favourite so far is the garnier summer body one. Go easy on knees and ankles though!

Garnier summer one definetly a face of mine just now but agree only a small covering or orange patches will be on show

I use the Dove one - it's great and the smell is lovely.

It takes a few days of daily use to develop, so best get started now.

I always put a tiny bit of plain moisturiser on any dry patches (knees) before I start, so they don't soak up too much of the lotion.

Thank you all! I'll try the Dove one, wish me luck!
