Old stuff: not much as, like Ishoes above, I go for instant gratification
but I do have a long black cashmere cardi from a Gap sale aeons ago. Pilled but adored. THE most comforting thing I own.
LBD from Arrogant Cat in the sale, at least 10 years old. Unforgivingly clingy (I can't wear knickers with it) but I love love love it and get checked out loads when I wear it.
Converse, in dirty white. Old faithfuls.
Dark brown knee boots from Russell & Bromley sale (there's a theme developing grin). Have had them eight or nine years but they are my go-to boots every winter and I still get loads of compliments on them.
New stuff:
Grey skinnies from All Saints. in my head I am a rock chick when I have them on.
Navy bird-print day dress from Great Plains. Can chuck it on for work, with any shoes and bright or neutral tights, and feel neat and worklike but also quite attractive.
Long-sleeved tops in various neutral colours, Gap. Handy to wear under anything and everything and the sleeves are long enough (Holy Grail for me and my long lanky arms).
Jewellery: I don't have any 'always' things but I like wearing a thumb ring (I have a plain chunky silver one) and a green-glass bracelet that is a cherished present from some colleagues.
I don't do handbags as carrying a bag on one shoulder/to one side hurts my back. I have a green backpack that I love.
Make-up: I urgently need some lessons and a new look, but currently just wear a sunscreen that acts as a bit of a light foundation as well, and mascara.
Signature scent is B Scent from Lush/Never Too Busy. Fresh and green.
