I want you tell me about your favourite pieces - the ones that are still standing hanging after all these decades as well as bits you picked up the other week, along with the jewellery you always wear, your everyday bag, must-have make-up and signature scent.

You must also sum up your style in less than five words. Wink

Okay... off you go. Grin

Old favourites:

  • Vintage pink snakeskin dior bag (a gift from my parents for my 18th)
  • a pair of Diesel flares which I don't think I'd wear out now but are a great 'am I still as slim as I was at 17?' benchmark.
  • A slinky black LBD with beaded straps which has seen be through 10 years and two pregnancies and always fit thanks to lovely heavy stretchy fabric.
  • a pair of navy metallic super pointy Lulu Guinness courts

New favourites

  • my collection of Mulberries
  • Acne pistol boots
  • a pink glittery Anya Hindmarch clutch
  • a bright pink Raoul bag
  • a Maje t-shirt with leopard heads on it

I wear only my wedding ring (white gold eternity style with 7 diamonds) and my engagement ring (3 carat purple sapphire and diamond), and occasionally a Tiffany key pendant my DH got me. I also usually wear a mens Rose gold Michael Kors watch, but it's at the menders.

That's six words,

SkinnyVanillaLatte · 10/06/2012 09:37

Old favourites include a couple of beautiful cashmere cardigans and a gorgeous wrap skirt in a beautiful design from Thailand.

New favourites are the perfect LBD from Next and a very wearable hooded raspberry pink jumper.

My favourite bag at the moment is a green one - very soft feeling.

V little make up - usually a BB cream, and eyeliner, shadow, eyelash curlers and mascara.

Perfume is Paris.

Confident,practical,eclectic,and unfussy.

Style-wannabe pretty in pink girl.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 10/06/2012 15:33

Old stuff: not much as, like Ishoes above, I go for instant gratification Smile but I do have a long black cashmere cardi from a Gap sale aeons ago. Pilled but adored. THE most comforting thing I own.

LBD from Arrogant Cat in the sale, at least 10 years old. Unforgivingly clingy (I can't wear knickers with it) but I love love love it and get checked out loads when I wear it.

Converse, in dirty white. Old faithfuls.

Dark brown knee boots from Russell & Bromley sale (there's a theme developing grin). Have had them eight or nine years but they are my go-to boots every winter and I still get loads of compliments on them.

New stuff:
Grey skinnies from All Saints. in my head I am a rock chick when I have them on.

Navy bird-print day dress from Great Plains. Can chuck it on for work, with any shoes and bright or neutral tights, and feel neat and worklike but also quite attractive.

Long-sleeved tops in various neutral colours, Gap. Handy to wear under anything and everything and the sleeves are long enough (Holy Grail for me and my long lanky arms).

Jewellery: I don't have any 'always' things but I like wearing a thumb ring (I have a plain chunky silver one) and a green-glass bracelet that is a cherished present from some colleagues.

I don't do handbags as carrying a bag on one shoulder/to one side hurts my back. I have a green backpack that I love.

Make-up: I urgently need some lessons and a new look, but currently just wear a sunscreen that acts as a bit of a light foundation as well, and mascara.

Signature scent is B Scent from Lush/Never Too Busy. Fresh and green.

Style:

hmmm.

Twenties-glamour-meets-raddled-rocker Grin
