Leather stuff is nice but the monogram range is naff IMO. I'm from US and it was really popular 10 years ago and I've got a few monogrammed bags in the wardrobe left over from my college days. They're next to my juicy track suit and uggs (shudders at memory of trying to be so cool as a "Yoof")

I got one from my parents when I was 18 (am 39 now) and it is still going strong. It is a dark brown large shoulder bag. I love it and use it a lot but it is quite heavy.

I've for a few Coach bags. Pretty well made and seem to last a while. Leather only for me too, wouldn't touch the monogrammed ones.

theladylovescupcakes · 08/06/2012 16:52

Of course that should have said "I have a few..."

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 08/06/2012 21:32

Agree with other posters, leather ones good, monogrammed bad.

I have a couple of leather ones that I have had 10 years plus and still look good.

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 08/06/2012 21:50

eek!! totally agree.
my sister has offered to buy me this with the matching purse. I really like the colour, but I know it is expensive so don't want her to waste her money if they are a bit shit.... (have never heard of them before)

That is lovely! They are definitely not in the slightest bit shit!

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 08/06/2012 22:23

Yay, will tentatively say yes then... eek. Posh bag, shoes from kurt geiger (as recommended by someone on here) who knows may look grown up sometime soon Grin

They're ok, but choose classic rather than bling imo!

feelingfull · 08/06/2012 22:27

I have 4 Blush from my days working in San Francisco from 8-10 years ago. Plain leather ones. There is 1 in particular that I still totally am in love with.

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 08/06/2012 22:32

madamCHolet, which one does the offered bag fit into?

I quite like the Coach classics - here - especially the leather duffle

I think they are a bit like mulberry used to be here - just well made and well loved as a brand. there's a Coach shop in london, and Liberty do a small range too

anything with a monogram is a bit tacky imo!

Mustgettogym · 09/06/2012 07:23

I personally don't like coach because of the monogram and prefer mulberry but it is definitely not shit and the leather is nice

EldonAve · 09/06/2012 09:35

I love them even the monogrammed ones

maz78 · 09/06/2012 13:18

I have a couple, including a 'classic' black bucket/duffle bag (or gas mask bag as my husband calls it). It is 5 years old and I just keep going back to because it's indestructible and hugely practical. It's actually in better condition than my 4 year old Bayswater...
No to monogrammed anything!!
