Don't like the colour or style. I think if you have a belly you should avoid dresses that tie at the waist and go for a more empire line- higher bust seam, and fuller skirt- have a look at www.thewhitecompany.com for some stretchy jersey dresses in black and navy which IMO are nicer.

It IS shapeless and the length is not one thing or another - it looks midi length unless the model is more than 6 ft tall and it's coming up short!

I like the colour although I think its a difficult length to wear
If you love it and it looks great on you then definitely get it though

I have skinny legs and the length is flattering for me. I feel that I'm going to end up with a frumpy looking dress. I'm going to give up, I think.

The model IS 5ft 9.5 so if you are a few inches shorter I imagine the length is good.

I love the colour and there's plenty of it around so others do too.

It's whistles so imagine it to be cut well and nice quality fabric.

If you feel good you should go for it. Think it lends itself to funky shoes and accessories in contrasting bright if you dare!

It looks awful on the pic but you said yourself it looks fab on, so there's your answer.

I like the dress, if you have the right figure and attitude. Maye you could get a belt to give it a bit more zuzz?

Try a size down if it's shapeless.

Too long, don't like the colour and HOW MUCH! it just looks like a longer version of the 7.99 basic dress in H&M.

if I had £85 I'd spend it on a pair of DM boots.

It is shapeless and will only look good on a very boyish digure

It's not shapeless in the right figure, I have tried the stripe version and it's excellent. Length however is dodgy, neither maxi nor midi...

Looks awful? Are you lot seeing the same model as I am - it looks great! I'd love to look that awful!

OP if you feel comfortable in it and it looks good then buy it!

DP dresses never fit me on top. I've only got a small branch. Madonna please don't tell me this now. My instinct was telling me to buy it as I would've got loads of wear out of it. Especially in black.

Do you have a John Lewis nearby who may also stock it? That way you can buy it but not go back to the snooty lady who seen you today?

Yes they have it in John Lewis but now that I'm home I'm wondering whether to wait for the sale. Whistles sales come around really quickly.
