Looking for a joint degree show opening night and graduation outfit, and am a bit stuck, to be honest. So I've booked one of these personal shopping things at my local Debenhams. Quite excited really, and looking forward to it. Even if I only come away with one thing, be it top, skirt, shoes etc, I'll be happy as I'll have made a start.

Annoyingly, I don't have an awful lot to spend, so will have to be very restrained. I'm talking £50 for the lot. That being said, I can almost certainly get shoes elsewhere, and accessories, so if there's a nice dress at say £30 I can go for it :)

Going to stop thinking about that though, and just enjoy the experience, til it comes time to decide! :)

I'm actually quite excited, these are two quite formal events and I'm not girly at all, so need some help in that department!

As an aside, do Debenhams have somewhere I could get my make up done before the degree show event?

Yeah... today didn't go well. All that was shown to me was big, bright floral dresses, which were totally unflattering on me, and not suitable for the events I'm attending.

However, got a lovely Trinny and Susannah dress, in my favourite colour, for £9 in a charity shop, brand new with tags :)

It's plum, long sleeve and comes to a bit below my knees, and is very flattering :)
