Please help - I just cannot find a pair of shorts that I like. I did think that these denim ones from Fat Face might be the ticket but they just aren't quite right. Too tight around the leg for my liking I think....
I've tried these white boyfriend ones from Gap, as well as their denim shorts too, to no avail.
By all accounts, I should not have a problem finding shorts. I am 5'6" and my legs are slim and toned due to a lot of running. I am just struggling to find something that looks and feels a little bit more me - the ones I've linked to are just a little boring, I guess.
To give you an idea of my style, I dress casually and normally live in rolled up chinos, harems, denim shirts (white vest underneath), white & grey t-shirts, occasional stripes, with supergas, leather flip flops, glads.... This is all fine in the UK but I'm off to sunnier climes soon and I do need at least one pair of shorts. I rarely wear skirts or dresses.
Am toying with the idea of some vintage high-waisted levis and channeling a bit of Alexa Chung but am not sure if this is what I want.
Any other suggestions for shorts or alternatives would be much appreciated!
