my extensive collection of m&s pants, that have been with me for many years, are all simultaneously falling apart.

How hard can it be to buy cheap cotton pants?

M and S, Debenhams and Primark

I like M and S ultimate knickers which I by from an M and S outlet. Not cotton and over a fiver per pair but worth it when they don't slide down your arse!

I like Gap. Nice comfy cotton with flat elastic that doesn't dig in to my hip fat! Plus not too 'elderly'.

Oooh yes, Gap pants (particularly the cotton hipsters) are blissfully comfortable and last for years. Not all Gap stores sell lingerie/knickers but it is worth finding a store that does.

Can't believe my life has descended to such a state, but recently M&S pants have become rubbish quality - a few washes and there are pulled threads, rips at the seams etc etc. I've had better luck with H&M pants, strangely enough....

....although I've just looked online and the only ones listed are horrible - microfibre and lace! I've definitely bought 100% cotton from them before, and they've stood up well to the test of time.

I've always been an M&S girl for pants, but was foolishly tempted in Asda a few weeks ago with some that looked pretty, were cotton and appeared to have enough elastic... They were awful really not comfy, curiously not the same shape as me and I'm giving them to charity (the unworn ones!).
A false economy.
