Impressed with of all things hair mouse!!

I have very very thick curly wavy hair which I spend a fortune on serums/sprays etc only to come back from walking the school run looking like I have done nothing to my hair at all!!

My hairdresser uses mouse so I tried some and wow what a difference!! Not used for 20 years when I scrunched my corkscrew curls and everyone wanted my big hair!!

In Cornwall this week and very windy days out and though I did go a little poofty the style stayed put! Impressed is an understatement and who would have thought it!!

Which mousse do you use?

MrsBovary · 05/06/2012 14:18

That sounds promising, having naturally wavy hair myself. Yes, which mousse is it, please? And how did you apply?

carrielou2007 · 05/06/2012 14:25

It was vo5 in a red can called pump it or something. Holds, not sticky and fab at holding the style and was about £4 in Boots. Sounds like generally mouses are still rubbish then!

Applied it like my hairdresser did on wet hair starting at one ear in a line to the other ear of that makes sense. Dried then Ghd'd has held hair today in the rainwith hood hair too!

Hair mouse Confused - is this Georgian times when ladies used to have mice in their wigs?

carrielou2007 · 05/06/2012 14:50

Blushmouse??! I blame the Cornish air! The mousse must have seeped into my brain...

Thank you, I'll give that a try!

Ooh I'm so glad someone else has discovered this.
I've been using John Frieda mousse in place of boots curl creme - and it is FAB. No stickyness, just SHINY lovely soft curly wavy hair.

I don't use enough to make it stay put through wind though, just a tiny tiny bit to make it not-frizz whilst still damp iykwim, but I'm enjoying the mousse again too.
