i have one of those fabric wardrobes

And am worried that the sun could get through the fabric and bleach my clothes, could that happen?? It's black (if that makes a difference)

Should i put some blackout material onto it to completely stop the suns damage or am i being a bit demented?

I used to work in clothes shops years ago and the only time that clothes faded/got bleached in the sun was when the sun shone directly on them (for a good period of time) when they were in the shop window. They should be fine in your wardrobe.
