Size 16/18 clothes to make me feel good ?

I am a curvy size 16/18 and have spent the entire day traipsing around a very hot and busy shopping centre only to come away yet again with nothing. Desperately need ideas for good quality mid price clothing that will make me feel good about myself and not self conscious about my size particularly my bingo wings n flabby thighs, (feel huge and am midway through dieting; have lost 2 stone so far). Have two straightish maxi dresses that I live in at the mo' but am fed up with em to say the least!
have no idea what to do / buy.
All help gratefully received.

I'm a similar size myself, I tend to wear separates though, mostly trousers and tops. I quite like more casual, layered outfits and personally don't like prints, so wear quite plain colours.
I would wear either full length, or cropped trousers, with a t-shirt or vest, a thin cardigan and a scarf if it's not too hot. I mostly shop at M&S, a bit of Next but have found quite a few things I like in Gap at the moment - have a look online, they've had loads of money off deals lately.
Not sure if that's your kind of look though.
Huge congratulations on losing 2 stone though - well done.

not sure what midprice is...this stuff is out of my price range there is a shop near me and their clothing always looks really nice in the window

I find Dorothy Perkins has a good and cheap range.

Mint Velvet. Fab tops, knitwear, jackets etc. Stuff is mid priced and lasts so well. Love it
