Necklaces - how do you store and/or display yours?

I'm on a quest to de-clutter my dressing table and surrounding area, and I've made a start on sorting out my jewellery this evening. I've got a proper old fashioned jewellery box which holds rings and bracelets, but I wondered if anyone could suggest some neat ways to store and/or display my necklaces.

In the past I've strung necklaces from pins on a corkboard and hung it on the wall, but I need a more elegant and less Heath Robinson solution now I'm no longer a student

I was wondering about something like this but suspect it might look a bit naff in situ...

Just to add that apart from my engagement and wedding rings, none of my jewellery has any value other than sentimental so I don't need a safe or anything secure Wink

I'm also not agin the idea of keeping necklaces out of sight in drawers etc as long as they're not going to get tangled up

I bought some plastic storage boxes with dividers from hobbycraft and keep in a drawer, it's much tidier.

Boxes are a bit like this but don't know what size mine are. I fit 2 side by side then have another 2 on top of them.

My mum bought me a thing from primary. Loads of see through pockets and it's in a clothes hanger so sits in the wardrobe. It's brilliant and was about three pound.

I have put nails in the inside of my wardobe door and hang them off the nails. Keeps them from getting tangled up.

I have got stick on hooks on inside of my wardrobe door - similar to dexter73 but I have for shit wardrobe doors!

I have a 5-hook coat thing on the inside of my wardrobe door. My necklaces are many, and are colour-coordinated by hook. I'm not ashamed Grin

For bangles/bracelets I have a kitchen roll holder, and my earrings are also colour-coordinated in the top of an Ikea Malm

I have something like this to hang necklaces and bracelets. I use the larger hooks and the small loops of metal on the top so can get loads on. Its on the wall next to my dressing table and looks lovely.

I use mini ziplock bags and put necklace and matching earrings/ring in a bag, the mini bags then go in a large decorative storage box and are 'filed' acc to colour. So I can just grab a bag and everything is together.
I was going to use the organza mini jewellery bags but couldn't decide on white or diff colours! Then my friend gave me a box of the mini ziplock bags for toddler snacks and I thought these would be perfect for my jewellery!
Just in case you are wondering this is junk jewellery not the real McCoy! Don't have anything valuable!
