Has anyone tried anything from Hush? Am weirdly attracted to the idea of lots of comfy jersey but am aiming to be more stylish, and am worried i'll actually be paying a lot to look like Waynetta Slob.

also sizing - i'm a 16. is their M-L (14-16) going to be on the tight side?

TIA

Not sure about sizing, think poss they come up big. I have a few things (cardigown thingie which is truly lovely, pj btms and a couple of dresses) would recommend, altho quality can be mixed. To be fair if I've sent things back they've been really good. What have you got your eye on?

I've bought a few things from hush. As hatcam says they come up a bit big and quality can be mixed, but there is good service if you need to return anything.

I've had some great pjs from there but not as much luck with the clothes - I think I get seduced by the willowy, tall models looking effortlessly chic and stylishly casual whilst I'm small and squat with a tendency to channel the rumpled sack of potatoes look....

That's my concern - the whole jersey thing is a bit deceptive, as it promises to 'skim' and flatter, and can actually be a bit unforgiving.

quite fancy the fold over waist jersey trousers - probably a safe place to start.

I am a size 12 in most things on the high street and I fit into the M/L I think it comes up small. With regards to quality I think it is mixed. The five items I have are nice but they are all tops/ blazers don't think my pear shaped bottom will fit into or look greta in their lounge wear.

Charlotte & CO is better for nice loungewear

I love Hush clothing but tend to buy the bottoms and mix with cheaper vests and knitwear. I have the cardigown, knee length harems, fold over trousers, a henley dress and a henley jumper. TBH, I am not a huge fan of the fold over trousers - they are very comfy but you do need to be willowy to get away with them for anything other than yoga or home wear. I agree that it is a mixed bag in terms of quality.

I am wearing their charcoal knee length harems today (they don't bag or result in soggy nappy chic) with sea green H&M vest and cardigan. So you can create the Hush look without buying everything from there.

I just had a lovely stripy dress delivered, the Catherine dress, but it is ridiculously short so going back. Felt like good quality material though, but I'm only 5"7 so would have expected it to safely cover my bum!

I love hush. I mean I really love it. I own lots of tops, skirts and dresses from there. I'm about to order some of their trousers. I think it's reasonably priced and good quality. It's pretty true to size IMO, possibly a little large. I'm a size 10 and wear S/M.

I have had bad experiences with Hush in the past, largely due to quality issues. However, after lots of umming and ahhing, I have just purchased some of their harem pants from www.style-passport.com, purely because they had a 30% off Jubilee special offer. The harem pants arrived on Friday and they are fabulous - really flattering and thick, excellent quality fabric. Am delighted with them and thinking of going back for the knee-length harems. Just wish Hush did the odd 15% discount code or special offer...if they did, I'd certainly buy the harems in other colours as well as a couple of their dresses....
