New Monsoon Website. You have to re-register and create a new account.

This is a Public Service Announcement.

Monsoon have launched their new website (as of 25th May). But in order to use it you have to re-register and it does not retain any of your details from the old website, so you cannot see your order history of the status of any current orders (or see if your return ahs been received/processed).

Did they email existing customers to let them know this? No.
Did they post on their new website to let customers know they ahd to re-register? No (to be fair to them, they may have posted for the first first few days, but there was nothing there when I tried to log on from the 29th onwards).

They did announce it on their facebook page (which I found after trying to log on repeatedly and waiting for a response from customer services). The facebook page is swamped by people complaining about the new website, lost orders (or order status...as there's no way of finding out through your account if something was ordered before the website switch).

Thank you for listening.

er I got an email a couple of days ago and I've never even ordered anything of their website! it explained about the new website and having to re register.

hazchem · 01/06/2012 08:29

I got an email saying I had to re register and I also got a discount code to make up for the trouble. I'm a monsoon card holder

Engelsmeisje · 01/06/2012 08:50

That explains it then, I don't have a monsoon card, but had ordered through their website before. I know there was a discount code but only read about it when I found the facebook page.

Now I feel like a second class citizen - equal rights for non-account card holders!

And still ridiculous that you cannot see your order history and check of the status of pending orders/returns.

Oh no it's not an account it's a rewards one like boots. (I still haven't spent enough to get a voucher unlike at boots). Agree it's very strange that you can't see orders. Maybe drop them a line (or two) and hopefully get a larger discount.

MooMinCow · 01/06/2012 09:12

yes their loyalty card, not storecard. I only ever buy clothes for DD in their sale and have never got any 'reward' for the amount I spend Angry

ENormaSnob · 01/06/2012 13:23

I had an email too.

I am a reward card holder although am yet to see any rewards!

mejon · 01/06/2012 14:23

Same here - received email and I'm a reward card holder who hasn't actually spent enough to get a reward yet! The registering process was a bit of a pain too tbh as it kept clearing the info when I went onto the next part and I'd have to start again several times.
