Is this dress suitable to wear to an interview?

I can't wear suits as I find them mega uncomfortable so wondered if the Oasis dress at link is suitable for an interview. It's an internal move.

I have had the dress for months and never worn it. Would wear with tan tights if a warm day or black tights if a cooler day (mid-June).

Many thanks Smile

I would wear that as I also hate suits - but I'm in teaching which is less formal than some industries. It's certainly an appropriate length/amount of coverage.

I agree, it looks 'appropriate' enough for an interview (but am a youth worker so in jeans all the time!)

What shoes? Like some sensible court-shoe type things? And bag/jewelry etc?

Thanks Brian. It is above the knee, but it covers at the top which I think is acceptable - as my DM says "boobs or thighs, never both" Grin. I am in the civil service where there isn't a dress code as such so I am looking for smart rather than too formal. Many thanks.

Eddie I was going to wear plain black courts - and perhaps buy a brighter coloured bag so it's not all black (love an excuse for bag buying). I'm not really into jewelry so just my wedding ring.
