3 questions dress/tan/nails

I posted a few days ago about needing help wth what to wear post surgery this summer. I've unfortunately had a hematoma on the scar and trousers will def be out for the long haul. My tummy is very swollen so I think dresses are going to be the way forward. I think I'm going to get a gap maxi skirt with the roll down tummy for support but I'm after a few floaty dresses. Its payday tomorrow and I'm not spending cash at all at the moment as I'm not going anywhere. But there are lots of birthdays and weekends away on the cards over summer. Soo..yesterday I bagged a white floaty knee length pretty topshop dress for a steal on eBay and im after some more ideas.

I like this but I'm 5.4 and 6-8 might it bury me? Reviews are a bit mixed. Anyone had one of these or a hush dress?

Any other ideas for a floaty knee length dress that doesn't sit on tummy/waist?

Also, I do try and embrace my inner pale girl, I really do. But I miss my spray tan when it's time for dresses! If I wore full on scar covering pants it would be ok wouldn't it? Or best left til I'm all healed?

Last question. Nail polish colour for nude dress? (fingers and toes)

Toon many questions in one go faux pas? Don't feel obliged to answer them all!

Can't help re. the tan as I had to embrace my inner pale girl a looong time ago!

Stick to nude nails and go for a bright nail polish for the toes - I'm wearing a pretty jade green today. I have kingfisher blue at home too but I'm toying with getting bubblegum pink and yellow over the weekend. Otherwise, bronzey colours always look good.

Try The White Company for floaty dresses www.thewhitecompany.com/clothing/dresses/

Thank you Smile I'm all into nail varnish colours again and finding it exciting after a decade of French manicuring. Currently wearing coral.

Ooo - I've got coral at home - might have to change my nail colour tonight Smile. I'm rubbish with anything other than nude/ clear on my fingernails as I chip it so quickly. I have to limit it to strictly special ocassions!

As I'm just at home mending im experimenting and just slapping it on fingers! It's really cheered me up. Itching to go out and mooch in boots now as I want some pastel colours.

Then I should probably not mention that M & S are doing some particularly nice colours at the moment and are pretty cheap too Grin!

I so want to go shopping! It's been too long. And Internet shopping is dangerous. I'm particularly wanting a nice lilac. And pastel pink. Jubilee nails would be very wrong for a party this weekend wouldn't they? Even in jest? Blush
