What's that Mombo? You just found THIS DRESS in Oxfam for £4??? (admittedly in navy).

Why yes, I did, in my size too. Might look ok n'all with some industrial strength undergarments...Anyone else done well lately?

I got a plastic digger complete with farmer for 49p this week. I'm guessing that's not quite what you're after though....

My god that is a good haul.
Round here they charge £4 for a Primark frock, often complete with holes/bobbles...

dexter73 · 29/05/2012 22:58

Blimey you struck chazza shop gold there!!!

MissFoodie · 29/05/2012 22:58

where is said oxfam???

marriednotdead · 30/05/2012 21:57

I got a deep coral full circle cotton skirt at the weekend. Label says Coast, Cancer Research tag said £4 Smile

Mombojombo · 30/05/2012 22:04

Said oxfam is in the fashion capital of Wembley! They really don't normally have anything that good so I'm well chuffed (and yes, the ex-primark stuff was also £4 - woohoo!)

What a find!

Oxfam can be very hit and miss I find. Primarni for a tenner, Mango for a fiver.

Am very jealous of your lovely bargain.

AmberNectarine · 30/05/2012 22:07

Not quite as good but this in the grey for £19.99 in the Cancer Research shop.

The spooky thing was I was going to order it that morning but was being indecisive about the colour. The universe decided for me, as I wasn't even going into the shop, just walking past and there it was hanging right by the doorway in my size...

i got a gerry weber suit for me, and a jaques vert 3 piece for my mum for a wedding we're going to AND they let me take them to try on on approval - no charge!! they spent ages hunting out tops that would go with both outfits too and found 4 which i took away to try on my mum on approval.

Why fork out for brand new when you might only wear it once or twice then i'll sell it back to the dress shop
