They are nice but I tried them on and the leather was very stiff. I thought they would rub. Mind you I am quite risk averse when it comes to sandals, having had lots of blisters in the past

They are a bit flat and a bit gladiator-hangover for me I'm afraid, but I have an aversion to v flat shoes. Just me, I appreciate others will love.

I have that Kaliko striped maxi dress and it is fab! Size down as they are quite generous. Will look lovely with the sandals. Dress seems cheaper at John Lewis?

levantine hmmm....I would be very annoyed if they rubbed! I will report back if they do.

I bought some of these sandals online and they rubbed my ankles horribly as soon as I put them on - no way could I have actually worn them. The leather is really rough and stiff as Levantine says. They went back straightaway which is a real shame as they are lovely.

love them, and tried them on..also had the stiff leather ankle rubbing prob. so sad...

I don't buy sandals that aren't comfy straightaway anymore
