What to wear to work for "dress-down summertime"?

We are allowed off wearing suits but are expected to be smart casual "in clothes you would be happy meeting clients in".

Went through 4 horrendous outfits this morning before concluding I have no clothes. Am at work in a suit .

What would be your ideas for a few summery separates that I could come to work in and meet this "smart casual" description?

I work in a smart casual office this week i have worn

Thanks sweetheart, just had a look on that Apricot website (hadn't heard of it before) and there are quite a few nice things. Also love the New Look wedges - shall be going to look for those tomorrow!
