Summer trousers for really short people

I'm under five foot, size 12-14 with wide hips and big boobs and I need comfy trousers for summer. Cut-offs, anything in linen and anything with wide legs make me look even shorter and wider. Anyone got any ideas? I get through the rest of the year in straight or boot cut jeans or leggings and dresses with big wedged boots but come summer I feel REALLY short and I hate it.

Coloured jeans are in at the moment so give those a go!

I'm 4 foot 10 and get mine from Topshop petite range.

I've got pink ones on today rolled up to be cropped!

I find jeans too hot once summer is properly here (if summer is ever properly here!)

Cotton chino's? I bought some last year from next. I am 5ft 2 size 12-14 (normally anyway- i have a 5 week old so am a tad bigger than that at the mo).

They are cool enough to wear in hot weather and can be rolled up so easy to tailor them to your leg length.

I am 5ft 3 and size 12-14.

Have done the cut-offs/Capri length trousers in the past but I know it's not what I should be wearing.

I'm 5ft and size 8. Topshop petite and next petite and M&S petite all have nice chinos that can be worn rolled up or not.
Next petite also have some nice slim leg linen trousers available in Navy or white. They only seem to be in stores though and not in the directory collection.

I'm 5ft and a size 14. I also live in bootcut jeans and boots in the winter and struggle to find anything to wear in the summer which doesn't make me look short and wide! When its really hot I do wear 3/4 length trousers which I know should be avoided when vertically challenged!. Otherwise I just wear jeans, have a few pairs which are thinner denim but would love to find something else to wear. Will be watching this thread with interest!
