Went shopping for some nice new spring clothes last weekend and have come back with absolutely nothing, I seem to have totally lost my way.

I just don't know where to shop for clothes for my age. I'm very much a girlie pretty prints and jeans sort of person, I don't know whether it's an impending big birthday but it dawned on me that the things I'm drawn to are maybe a bit 'young' now.
Are there any of you who are around 40 that would be good enough to share your style and what shops you prefer?

The trouble is I still feel 20 but am beginning to realise I can't dress 20 for ever!

It's too late to start now but open girlie eyes is my no one tip. But some magazines. Read some blogs. Look at "get the look" on websites from shops.

Open your eyes. Not girlie !!

You can dress 20 forever.

Not helpful I know but fashion should be fun wear what you like and what suits you.

What's wrong with girly prints and jeans at 40? Maybe you just need to change the shape of the clothes - but even then probably not drastically unless you have changed shape a lot yourself?
