I utterly adore this from Zara www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/uk/en/zara-S2012/189502/775509/FANTASY%2BFABRIC%2BBLAZER, but I can't justify £80. Has anyone seen anything similar cheaper elsewhere?

Oh man, I just purchased this: still awaiting its arrival though. I tried it on in store a few weeks ago and it does look lovely!

There's this at Mango for £60+
shop.mango.com/GB/p0/mango/clothing/jackets/zipper-jacket/?id=61103777_OW&n=1&s=prendas.americanas&ie=0&m=&ts=1337624937027

To be honest, anything of a similar style and colour in most of the high street stores seems to cost around £50-£80 anyway. The Zara jacket is predominantly cotton, which is great, but also dry clean only, which is terrifying. Perhaps try ebay for Zara fantasy blazers? They usually have some knocking around there, for they have been selling this style for quite a while now.

Even NewLook and Amazon didn't present me with anything much cheaper, unless we're talking denim.

I did hang around trying to justify my own purchase for a few weeks until finally caving in. I have been wondering how to style it, for although I love the idea of it with jeans, I hate showing my backside, especially in skinnies. Considering wearing with skirts and maybe jeans when I'm feeling confident. Lovely for summer into autumn too.
Hope someone can help!

Hi, thanks so much. I keep going in and trying it on, but I can't quite get there in my head as it seems so impractical! Will be great with skinny jeans, but also good for skirts in Summer. Am v jealous!

I dithered over the impracticality too! But I'm determined to make it work, and if you think about it, the colour isn't especially difficult to work with really.
I adore the 3/4 sleeves, for most jacket sleeves tend to swamp me.

Here is a blogger showing the jacket from a few different angles, she has some fabulous fabric blazers, lucky thing!....
