Unskinny Jeans - Toast Jeans

I need some new jeans. I wear jeans a lot since they are playground, mud, grass and sick proof. I do not like or suit skinny jeans, and bootleg are a bit well, tired? I think. I need some non-skinny jeans, preferably not bootleg.

I have always fancied the "red selvedge" jeans that Toast do, and rather like these. I can just about cope with the price if they are any good, but I have never had anything from Toast before, so I have no idea if tehy are all style over substance.

Anyone had Toast jeans?
Anyone recommend any non-skinny, non-bootleg jeans for a 41 yo, size 14/16 mum of 2 small children, 5'8", curvy. I have worn Gap Long and Lean for a few years, but would like something a bit less mumsy. All I can find in shops are bright green/fuscia pink/swimming pool blue skinny jeans.

I've got some Toast straight leg jeans, which I love. Good quality, and for me, very good fit. Also I can't be bothered to go to a million shops and wade through six million skinny and bootleg styles (neither of which I can bear) to find jeans I like.

I would try the Toast version. I love Toast :)
I haven't had any jeans from there recently, but the straight/skinnyish black trousers they do are fab, a real staple. They are a nice 'substantial' type fabric.

PS... regarding price - the (black) trousers are worth it but some other items are overpriced IMO - especially some of the simple cotton summer stuff.

However, most things seem to go into the sale which is bargainous. I can't remember if the Toast sale is an early or late starter - but hopefully someone else will come along who can remember...

Also, if you are anywhere near Shepton Mallet, Kilver Court has an excellent Toast outlet with permanent 70% off :)

I have similar toast jeans (wider leg ones)-I am also 5'8" and vary between a 10 and a 12. I like the legs, and they look great on my friend, but they really don't look good on me. For some reason the waistband and zip sit in a really unflattering place , the zip buckles, and they give me more of a tummy. I've had two c-sections though, and have the typical c-section bulge above the scar. Some trousers do seem to accentuate this. My friend is a 12 and bought the 14, she needs to belt them but they look better, I bought the 12 and they are a bit big but the 10 would have been even less flattering, so size up rather than down.

I wear the Toast Straight Leg Jeans a lot. They last well and fit me well - fairly short, fairly plump, post C-section and all. Seems to me that they're sized pretty big - I'm wearing a 10 and am realistically a 12 or old school 14.

I don't think they went in the winter sale at all, annoyingly, plus they're £10 more expensive than last time I looked. :-(

Oooooh, no I am not near Shepton Mallet, but my mother is very close and oban going to see her soon. Is the Toast outlet at the same place as Mulberry?
