Shoe search - going back to work after maternity leave, need a little help.

OK, so my plan when I go back to work is to only wear dresses. A few reasons for this, including that I feel smarter, and that I find it difficult to get work trousers that fit me well. Plus - I'm hoping to get preggers again not long after I get back, and the dresses I have would hide this a lot better although the throwing up would probably give it away

I have a few jersey dresses, and smart dresses including this one...
Monsoon dress

I recently bought some sandals from Next which are super super comfy and I can wear with the dresses on nice bright sunny days...
Next shoes

In the winter I plan to wear my black boots (probably with leggings underneath the dress).

What I really really need is a pair of shoes that I can wear for the days when it is neither sunny nor freezing! They need to be comfortable, so nothing too high heeled. Plus, I am wondering about colour? Are black shoes with dresses OK or do they look a bit 'heavy', and do brown shoes go with most colour dresses (including black)?

I have slight bunions - and have never found a ballet pumps that comfortable - plus want something a little more solid.

I don't know where to start? I go back in a couple of weeks, which is fine if it is sunny... which it won't be if I don't find my shoes!

Probably should have said - I'm 31, 5'9 and a size 8-10.

I like these... Clarks shoes

But worry they would look too 'heavy', and the heel is possibly a little higher than I wanted.

These look comfy... but not sure they go...

I think both par of shoes are fine. Do think about what colour tights you will wear as you want shoes a color other than black.

I don't know what your budget is and these are more expensive but I have these:

They are so comfortable and a really nice heel height that I can comfortably wear all day. You only have to undo the top buckle as they are elasticated. Alternatively, I also like these:

Have a look on Amazon though as they are usually cheaper.
Having said that I think the Clarks ones both look fine.

Hope this helps.
